    Purpose of Role:

    The Production Scheduler - Assembly is responsible for planning and coordinating assembly operations to support production targets, customer demand, and on-time delivery. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, and other cross-functional teams to maintain efficient production flow, manage priorities, and resolve scheduling or material-related issues.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Plan and control assembly schedules for designated production areas based on capacity and demand requirements
    • Serve as a key interface between Master Planning, Assembly, Components and Material Planning to align schedules, priorities, and material availability
    • Coordinate daily production meetings and support work order release and retrofit planning
    • Manage material shortages, production disruptions, and exception messages, including escalation of critical issues as needed
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Manufacturing, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred
    • Experience in production scheduling, production planning, manufacturing operations, or a related field
    • Experience in working in a global matrix organization as a plus
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
    • Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and business processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems and production planning tools preferred
    • German language proficiency a plus
