Title: Production Scheduler
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr. on W2
Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Production Scheduler to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage production plans and drive efficiency in operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing production plans to meet daily build rates and ensure date fidelity on finish dates.
- Ability to ensure adequate material and capacity availability before releasing production orders to operations.
- Strong monitoring skills to track production operations progress and ensure build execution occurs as planned.
- Experience in addressing and resolving aging orders (aged WIP).
- Prior work experience in the industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience acting as the focal point for reporting and resolving issues impacting production schedule execution.
- Ability to develop and monitor recovery plans as needed.
- Experience leading/supporting efforts to understand root cause and corrective actions for process failures related to production plan execution.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the production plan to meet daily build rates and ensure date fidelity on finish dates.
- Ensure adequate material and capacity availability before releasing production orders to operations.
- Monitor production operations progress to ensure build execution is occurring as planned.
- Drive actions to address and resolve aging orders (aged WIP).
- Act as the focal point for reporting and resolving all issues impacting production schedule execution.
- Develop and monitor recovery plans as needed.
- Lead/support efforts to understand root cause and corrective actions for process failures relating to execution of the production plan.
- Participate in the tiered accountability process.
