Production Scheduler

Copper State Bolt & Nut is seeking a Production Scheduler in Manufacturing to join our team! You will coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve execution of production assignments
• Review and distribute supplies and shipments in a timely manner
• Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
• Compile reports on costs and inventory levels
• Review and communicate production status reports
• Serve as point of contact between production and planning teams

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, planning, or other related fields
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate positively with a wide range of technical operators.
• Follow through and accountability for work-order organization, layout and job progress at each production station
• Professional demeanor and can synthesize and present complex material effectively to supervisors and managers
• Productive, always looking to fill production needs, proactively seeks ways to assist operators and supervisors with production work
• Ability to train in a production environment where topics are not always able to be presented in a linear sequence
• Excellent computer skills specifically, within excel software: candidate must be able to create a tabulating sheet while also being able to filter and graph data

Physical Requirements:

• This position typically requires that the employee lift heavy boxes, products, or other items, up to or more than 50 lbs.
• This position will require that the employee stand for virtually their entire shift (8 or more hours)

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, M-F
