The Production Scheduler develops and manages production schedules to ensure efficient use of labor, ingredients, packaging, and equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role coordinates closely with production, inventory, and procurement teams to balance customer demand, food safety requirements, and plant capacity while meeting on-time delivery goals.
Key responsibilities include planning and adjusting production schedules, sequencing runs to improve efficiency and reduce changeovers, monitoring ingredient availability and inventory levels, and communicating schedule updates across operations to address equipment issues, labor constraints, or supply changes.
