Akkodis is seeking a Production Scheduler for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA. This role involves managing production plans, ensuring material availability, and driving resolution of scheduling issues to meet build and delivery targets.
Rate Range: $32/Hour to $35/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Production Scheduler Job Responsibilities include:
Manage and execute daily production plans to meet build schedules and delivery targets.
Ensure material and capacity availability before releasing production orders.
Monitor production progress and address any deviations from planned schedules.
Identify and resolve aging work-in-progress (WIP) issues to improve efficiency.
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support schedule recovery plans.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and material/capacity planning processes.
Proven ability in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
