Production Set-Up Coordinator (2nd Shift)Location: Mentor, OH
Pay: Starting at $21.00/hour
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)
Inova Staffing is currently hiring a Production Set-Up Coordinator for our client in Mentor, Ohio. If you have manufacturing experience, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team.Position SummaryThe Production Set-Up Coordinator is responsible for ensuring production jobs are set up safely, accurately, and efficiently according to production priorities. This role plays a key part in keeping production running smoothly while meeting customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Safely set up and tear down production cells
- Stock production cells with necessary materials
- Follow all work instructions, quality standards, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily 5S activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience using blue prints, tape measures and tools
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent use of both hands for assembly and material handling
- Occasional walking, reaching, bending, and pushing/pulling
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
