This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role with a stable organization.The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading production teams, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Position DetailsEmployment Type: Direct HireSalary: $80,000 annuallySchedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMFlexibility to begin as early as 2:00 PM when neededOvertime available as business demands requireLocation: Greensboro, NCKey ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support production employees during the assigned shift.Coordinate daily production activities to meet quality, productivity, and operational goals.Monitor production processes and resolve issues to minimize downtime.Promote and enforce a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies.Assist with employee training, development, and shift communication.Maintain accurate production records and communicate performance metrics.Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to resolve production concerns.Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and quality.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus.Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Prior leadership experience as a Shift Lead, Lead Operator, Team Lead, or Supervisor preferred.Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, production processes, and quality systems.Basic computer skills, including production reporting and data entry.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by example.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working around production equipment and industrial materials.
