YOUR ROLE AS A PRODUCTION SHIFT LEAD - 2ND SHIFT

As a Production Shift Lead at Placon Corporation, you'll dive right into a vibrant and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising production teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and driving excellence in quality. You'll be the key to fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Expect to engage in hands-on problem-solving, guiding your team through challenges and implementing solutions. Daily tasks will also involve monitoring and maintaining production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and facilitating production efficiency.

Second shift at Placon works Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Placon offers a structured yet dynamic workweek that allows for continuous development and learning.

This role requires the ability to handle conflict and differing opinions in a constructive and professional manner that align with The Placon Way.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

You should possess strong supervisory skills and the ability to inspire team leadership, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems.

An understanding of Lean, experience with 5S, root cause analysis and continuous improvement is helpful. Placon does offer training in these areas. Experience with safety systems and incident investigation ensures a secure working environment for your team.

Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools will aid in data management and reporting. Communication, problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills will enable you to thrive in this role.
