Production Shift Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Toledo, OH facility. We are a metal processing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and streamline processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation.
• Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing support to existing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
