Production Shop Assistant to support our manufacturing operations by moving materials, tooling, and equipment between departments and facilities.
In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly by assisting with material handling, deliveries, shipping and receiving, inventory support, and facility logistics. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and enjoy hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll DoMaterial Handling & Warehouse Support
- Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including inbound and outbound shipments
- Package, band, and secure products for transportation
- Support inventory tracking and material organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Transportation & Logistics
- Make local deliveries and pickups between company facilities and other locations as needed
- Transport tooling and production materials to the correct departments
- Ensure materials are properly identified, logged, and stored
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate transportation and delivery records
- Follow all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
General Production Support
- Respond to daily operational needs and support production teams
- Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain forklift inspection logs
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, material handling, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operation experience
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Schedule
1st Shift- Monday-Friday

Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required based on business needs.
