Job Description
- Lead and supervise 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) production teams operating converting and finishing equipment.
- Plan, organize, and adjust daily workflow to meet production, quality, and on-time delivery targets.
- Coach, train, and onboard new operators and helpers to build a skilled, engaged crew.
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
- Promote a strong safety culture; conduct regular safety and production huddles with the team.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Review production data, identify bottlenecks or waste, and implement improvements.
- Partner with other supervisors and departments to support smooth shift handoffs and communication.

The Successful Applicant
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision; packaging a plus.
- Proven experience leading hourly teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Comfortable working in or around a unionized workforce.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail and quality.
- Solid computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and production tracking.
- Familiarity with quality or continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO) preferred.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Able to work weekends when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
