Oversee 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) production operations.About Our ClientMy client is a well-established U.S. manufacturer specializing in high-volume packaging solutions. They operate a busy, team-oriented production facility with modern converting equipment, focused on safety, continuous improvement, and delivering reliable quality to customers. This company offers a stable environment with room for advancement for strong performers.Job DescriptionLead and supervise 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) production teams operating converting and finishing equipment.Plan, organize, and adjust daily workflow to meet production, quality, and on-time delivery targets.Coach, train, and onboard new operators and helpers to build a skilled, engaged crew.Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance as needed.Promote a strong safety culture; conduct regular safety and production huddles with the team.Ensure adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Review production data, identify bottlenecks or waste, and implement improvements.Partner with other supervisors and departments to support smooth shift handoffs and communication.The Successful Applicant3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision; packaging a plus.Proven experience leading hourly teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Comfortable working in or around a unionized workforce.Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail and quality.Solid computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and production tracking.Familiarity with quality or continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO) preferred.Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.Able to work weekends when necessary.High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary aligned with your experience and leadership impact.Performance-based bonus opportunity.Comprehensive medical and dental insurance options.401(k) plan with company match and profit-sharing component.Paid time off and company-recognized holidays.Long-term career growth potential within a stable manufacturing organization.
