Production Supervisor - 1ST

Talis Groups’ client is a well-established, leading industrial facility, dedicated to responsible, sustainable, and compliant production. They are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for 1^st shift (7am – 3pm) in their Furnace Department at the Louisville facility. This position will lead production operations, ensure quality standards, and support a safe and efficient work environment primarily in the Furnace Department.

Salary: $70 – 85,000 + full benefits package including private local medical clinics, dental, vision, matching 401K & much more. Be part of an amazing team environment.

HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES

• Supervise production workers for your shift
• Work with Production and Quality Managers on best practices for sample management and tracking
• Monitor processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain product inventory levels to meet customer orders and ensure on-time delivery
• Assist in investigations of safety incidents, process issues, and customer complaints
• Ensure products are delivered on time in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• Communicate regularly with Sales and Traffic teams
• Enforce Quality Management System procedures and maintain accurate records
• Provide training, guidance, and performance monitoring
• Manage employee schedules and payroll records, ensuring accurate time entry
• Uphold all safety requirements and contribute to a safe work environment
• Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and consistent manner

 HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervision experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership ability to direct teams, foster collaboration, and motivate employees
• Capable of working effectively with internal teams and external partners
