We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead assembly-area manufacturing operations and help drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
Job Description:
Direct and manage assembly-area manufacturing activities to achieve plant objectives and production goals.
Oversee manufacturing of products to established specifications for quality, functionality, and lead time.
Schedule daily work activities and maintain accurate production schedules.
Establish and maintain performance expectations, metrics, and accountability for direct reports.
Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, quality, and other internal performance metrics.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Promote a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment.
Ensure employees follow company safety procedures and receive required training.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Enforce General Manufacturing Practices and company procedures.
Maintain high-quality standards while supporting excellent customer service.
Foster a positive, motivational team environment and provide strong leadership.
Work on assigned projects, including productivity improvements and development of training programs for new employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business and/or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
Strong supervisory experience in an engineered-product, low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical interest or experience.
Demonstrated Lean manufacturing experience.
