This hands-on leadership role will be responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while overseeing blow molding and filling operations.
ResponsibilitiesLead daily production activities and ensure the achievement of safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale objectives
Manage and sustain daily management systems through coaching and mentoring production employees
Plan staffing levels and adjust shift schedules based on production requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 6S, changeover improvements, and Lean Manufacturing activities
Develop and execute training plans for machine operators and production personnel
Coordinate production schedules, material verification, and crew assignments
Partner cross-functionally to ensure production goals are achieved
Maintain and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
Enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping standards throughout the facility
Conduct audits, investigate incidents, and support corrective action activities
Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with blow molding and filling operations is required
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a production environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Bilingual English/Spanish is required
Preferred BackgroundPlastics manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
