Location: This position will be on-site full-time in St. Charles, IL.

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday to Friday

Production Supervisor Summary:

This position is responsible for providing overall supervision to the hourly workforce. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, organizing and utilizing resources (human, materials, and equipment) effectively and within safety and quality standards. This position works in collaboration with a variety of other departments including quality, supply chain, other production departments, production leadership and human resources.

Production Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and organizes resources to ensure organizational and customer goals are met.
  • Schedules jobs / work orders to meet customer demands while also maximizing departmental efficiency.
  • Provides direction and supervision to the hourly workforce to ensure goals are met with regard to safety, quality, and production; including but not limited to coaching and feedback, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as appropriate.
  • Completes a variety of reports with regard to safety, production, quality, employee performance, and etc.
  • Maintains appropriate communication and documentation of changes and updates to production process and document SOPs, in collaboration with the Quality Department.
  • Conducts timely communication meetings, safety training, and other meetings as required to ensure high levels of communication are maintained.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Production Supervisor Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years operations management experience in the manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to take initiative, with a demonstrated passion and commitment for getting the job done right the first time.
  • Excellent computer skills are required, Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Effective problem solving skills with an eye towards proactive solutions.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
