Role Summary:
Manage people, process, machines, and activities related to the production area on 2nd shift, supporting and reporting to the Production Manager. The main goals are following the direction from the Production Manager, ensure compliance with the production schedule and timing, as well safety, productivity and standards of quality.
Be the reference for the employee that work in the production area on 2nd shift, both as machine operator and leader. H&S must be a priority, as well as working in a safe environment.

What We're Looking For:
Experience in a production environment as machine operator (technical background); Leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential; Familiarity with product flow management, capacity planning and scheduling required; Efficient in utilizing Lean Manufacturing Principles; value stream mapping, waste reductions and Five 'S" Activities; Possess a "hands-on/lead-by-example leadership style with the energy to continually deliver results. Able to communicate effectively - both verbal and written; Understanding of general safety practices; Ability and willingness to work overtime when required.
Education and Qualifications:
At least 1 year of forklift experience desired Minimum of 5-year experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment High School Diploma or GED
