We're looking for a motivated, metrics-driven Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift production team at our Blue Ash, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while ensuring customer commitments and operational goals are achieved. The Production Supervisor serves as a key leader on the production floor, partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operations and develop a high-performing workforce. What You'll Be Doing - Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved,
- Plan and prioritize workflow to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take proactive action to address performance gaps.
- Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
- Partner with Production Managers, Customer Service, Quality, and other departments to resolve production challenges and maintain workflow.
- Coach, train, and develop production employees while building bench strength within the organization.
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Support hiring, onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and other supervisory responsibilities.
- Manage workforce attendance, overtime, scheduling, and staffing needs while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and employee engagement.
- Promote a positive work environment that reflects CTS values and encourages teamwork and accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About You - 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to successfully pass a background check and DOT drug screen
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
Experience - 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Experience managing production schedules, workforce performance, and operational metrics, preferred
