Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise and lead production employees in a manufacturing environment
  • Plan, assign, and direct daily production activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, food safety, and quality standards
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members
  • Manage attendance, timecards, and employee performance
  • Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, efficiency, waste, and cost
  • Conduct safety audits, food safety inspections, and internal audits
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Quality to ensure GMP and HACCP compliance
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize labor/material usage
  • Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions
  • Provide input on production budgets and ensure adherence
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Communicate production updates across teams and leadership

Qualifications (Needed)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of plant experience in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing
  • Experience in food safety systems (GMP, HACCP)
  • Strong leadership and team development experience
  • Proven ability to manage KPIs and production performance
  • Experience with budgeting and production financials (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; SAP and ADP preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
