Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of production workers during the assigned shift, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
Monitor and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.
Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all shift employees.
Communicate effectively with other shift leaders and management to report on shift performance, issues, and improvements.
Implement and oversee training for new hires and ongoing training for existing employees to ensure skill development and safety compliance.
Address and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or workflow disruptions.
Conduct shift handovers, ensuring that key information is communicated clearly between shifts.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization projects.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong understanding of production processes and equipment operation.
Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control standards.

Bilingual English/Spanish required

Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
