Education and Experience
Associate's degree or minimum twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Supervisory and/or Leadership experience, strongly preferred.
Demonstrated aptitude to motivate employees, leadership by example and work habits, make prompt and competent decisions, use authority wisely and maintain discipline, morale and teamwork at high standard; demonstrated commitment to high level of ownership of safety, hygiene, quality and 5S practices
Prior success of coaching, motivating, and holding employees accountable.
Prior Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
Chemical batch mixing experience preferred, but not required
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required; must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
Must be able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented, ever-changing manufacturing environment
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Specific vision abilities may be required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.
