Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Location: Addison, IL 60101
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $31.00/hour + Overtime Pay
Hire Type: Direct Hire

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a manufacturing company in the Addison area to hire a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This hands-on leadership role will oversee daily production operations, ensure production goals are met, and support employees while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support daily production activities across multiple departments
  • Coordinate workflow and prioritize production schedules to meet customer deadlines
  • Monitor production operations and conduct regular floor walks to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained
  • Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, and employee matters to the Plant Manager
  • Enforce company quality, safety, and production procedures
  • Assist with job setups, production logging, and workflow scheduling
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate major repairs with maintenance
  • Track production performance and associated run rates
  • Ensure customer requirements and delivery expectations are consistently achieved
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment through coaching and employee development
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing production schedules and workflow
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
