Role and Responsibilities The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role is focused on creating a safe, organized, and efficient workplace by applying Lean Manufacturing principles and driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include training and developing new employees, improving departmental productivity, eliminating production disruptions and constraints, conducting daily audits, and leading root cause problem-solving efforts. The Production Supervisor ensures their team consistently manufactures high-quality products while meeting customer expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. Through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management, the Production Supervisor builds a highly engaged team that embraces continuous improvement and delivers outstanding operational results.
