We are looking for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor for our Modesto, CA facility!

Summary: Results-driven leader responsible for supervising team members in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain compliance with product-quality requirements and customer expectations, including accurate quality records.

• Support a safe work environment by reinforcing company safety programs and applicable requirements and addressing or escalating unsafe conditions.

• Drive attainment of production schedules and forecasts and take appropriate corrective action when performance does not meet requirements.

• Accurate and timely reporting of Key Performance Indicators.

• Attends all production management meetings as required.

• Maintain accurate and timely production confirmations, inventory transactions, quality records, and key performance indicator reporting.

• Monitor equipment reliability, support completion of preventive maintenance requirements within the work cell, communicate maintenance needs, and drive improvement in equipment performance and uptime.

• Ensure adequate cross-training to cover vacation leave and other absences

• Work with Purchasing, Customer Service, Shipping, and other business partners to confirm that materials, cut lists, and related production requirements are available for the planned schedule.

• Direct responsibility for team members.

• Coordinate staffing, break coverage, cross-training, and absence coverage to maintain operational continuity.

• Communicate with Crew regarding performance against Company goals.

• Manage attendance, disciplinary, and employee-relations matters in accordance with company policies, applicable employment requirements, and collective bargaining agreement provisions where applicable.

• Ensure accurate recording of time and attendance for employees.

• Ensures that all rules/policies stated within the Employee Handbook, the Company Safety Programs, and any federal or state guidelines/laws are being adhered to.

• Coordinate with Engineering and other functions to support the introduction of new products and product variants.

• Maintain housekeeping standards and designated storage areas for raw materials and finished goods to support safe and efficient operations.

• Promote continuous improvement in safety, quality, equipment reliability, productivity, and departmental processes.

• Ensure Stock usage is correctly recorded on SAP through confirmations, and any Bill of Material Changes are implemented.

• Consistently apply company policies, work rules, attendance expectations, and operational standards in a fair, objective, and accountable manner.

• Perform other related duties based on operational needs, including providing appropriate coverage during employee absences.

• Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.

• Follow Compliance requirements per "KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities."

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of manufacturing or production experience, including experience providing day-to-day direction to frontline employees.
• Experience in insulated panels, metal building, construction-products, or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Prior experience providing day-to-day direction or supervision to frontline employees in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

• Information Review: The role includes reviewing digital and printed information, production records, gauges, equipment conditions, and product quality details.
• Communication and Interaction: Regular communication with employees and business partners may occur in office, meeting, and active production-floor settings.
• Manufacturing Environment: The work environment generally includes exposure to moving equipment, production noise, dust, temperature variation, and chemicals present within the facility.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be involved as business needs require.

Hourly wage: $33.00-$38.00 (Compensation at the top of the range is reserved for individuals who bring subject‑matter knowledge, hands-on experience, a proven track record of performing this work at a high level, and the ability to step in and deliver impact immediately with minimal ramp-up.)

3rd shift, 9:00 pm - 5:30 am

Shift differential for eligible hours worked (does not apply to holiday pay, PTO, STD, etc)
