We are actively seeking a driven, experienced, and highly skilled Production Supervisor for our 3rd shift in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the action.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in production management, supply chain management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, and ensuring that production meets the required standard of quality, cost, delivery, and safety.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring that it runs smoothly and is cost-effective.
  • Manage the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
  • Liaise with different departments, e.g., suppliers, managers, to ensure smooth operations and coordination.
  • Implement and control the production schedule, reviewing and adjusting where necessary.
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports.
  • Monitor and control inventory, overseeing the ordering and supply chain management process to ensure adequate materials are available for production.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large production team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Implement strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the business.
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, and management.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in production management, supply chain management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of production machinery, processes, and quality control techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of industry safety standards and the ability to implement them.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performance team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle and manage a high-stress environment.
