We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead operations within a fast-paced, high-volume automotive manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a production environment, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about driving safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading large production teams, managing performance, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a positive and safety-focused culture.

This is for the 3rd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).

Job Details

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and supervise a team of 50+ production employees in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Drive daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals are achieved.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Partner with Team Leads and department leaders to coordinate workflow and staffing needs.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and collaborate with HR and leadership on appropriate resolutions.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, scheduling, attendance management, and workforce planning.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Review production reports and communicate daily priorities to frontline leadership teams.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • • Proven experience leading large teams of 50–60+ employees.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and production workflows.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability to work weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in injection molding or blow molding manufacturing environments.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
