Overview
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met, and managing a team of production employees.
The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader who can manage people effectively, make decisions confidently, and drive performance in a high-demand environment.
Work Schedule
- Must be flexible to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
- Initial onboarding will begin on 1st shift
- Rotating schedule based on business needs
- Frequent extended work schedules, including:
- Rotating weekends
- Periods of working up to 7 consecutive days or extended stretches
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
- Conduct safety checks, quality inspections, and ensure proper process execution
- Analyze production data to detect and resolve operational issues
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members, including addressing attendance and performance concerns
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and production records
- Collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve production challenges
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of approximately 30-40 employees in a production environment
- Foster a positive, high-performance team culture while maintaining accountability
- Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and leadership
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support employee development
- Address workplace challenges and facilitate resolution in a timely manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
