Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor for our 5th Shift at our Fenton, MO area facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing production operations, ensuring that our team meets quality standards and production goals. If you are a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving efficiency, we want to hear from you!

This is a newly-created position, and our company is planning to add on additional production for weekend overnights. You would be required to train on day shift M-F, and then assist with hiring efforts to support fully operational overnight weekend production.

  • Full-time, Direct-hire
  • Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor production processes in our molding, machine shop, and setup areas to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortability with working in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
