What You Will Do

  • Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
  • Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
  • Train personnel to operate, adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery, performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
  • Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
  • Complete all required checklists and paperwork for each shift.
  • Provide feedback to the Plant Manager or Human Resources on the performance of the department and assist in performance reviews of the personnel they lead.
  • Maintain attendance records in order to reconcile payroll information.
  • Set print and gauge printers.
  • Ensure weekly Behavioral Observations and Stop Cards are being completed consistently and correctly.
  • Take initiative to continue to grow mechanical knowledge by volunteering for special projects.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
  • Ensure incoming shift comes into a clean work environment with equipment in good working order, even if this requires you to stay over past the end of your shift.

What you Bring

  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment-someone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
  • Service leadership mindset.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
  • Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
  • Prior Manufacturing leadership experience is required.
