What You'll Do
  • Oversee all facility operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Manage operations to maximize capacity, reduce downtime, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary safety contact for the shift by identifying hazards, addressing incidents, and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory teams to ensure sanitation, food safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor HACCP and GMP compliance, ensure accurate documentation, and support shipping and receiving activities including BOLs and inspections.
  • Lead, coach, and develop shift employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

What You'll Bring
  • One to two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required, with a four-year degree preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience required, with food manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull equipment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection.
  • Exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and cold environments, including refrigerated areas.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
