We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead a team of 8-12 employees in a dynamic metal fabrication and manufacturing environment. This is a true working supervisor role, ideal for someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.

What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production employees
Spend approximately 30% of your time actively supporting production operations
Coordinate daily workflow to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations are met
Assign work based on employee skills, equipment availability, and production priorities
Support operations in welding, machining, grinding, material handling, fabrication, and paint departments
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with management regarding staffing, training, employee development, and performance management
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company safety standards
Serve as shift leader responsible for facility security and emergency response procedures
What We're Looking For
✔ High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
✔ 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a production environment
✔ Prior supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience
✔ Hands-on experience in at least two of the following:
• Welding
• Machining
• Grinding
• Material Handling
• Forklift Operation
• Hydraulic Assembly
• Fabrication or Paint Operations
✔ Ability to lead by example while working alongside production employees
✔ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
✔ Experience reading blueprints, welding symbols, and engineered drawings preferred
✔ Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
✔ ERP system experience (3+ years preferred)
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
✔ Forklift Certification a plus
