Production Supervisor

Location Bowling Green KYCannon Automotive Solutions a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Production Supervisor in our Bowling Green Kentucky Stamping Facility. The Production Supervisoris responsible for guiding the production team to ensure efficient operation of product manufacturing is maintained to exceed customer requirements and company objectives.Theideal candidate will have strong organization skills be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package with career advancement opportunities.Summary of ResponsibilitiesMaintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process setting variables observing control points and equipment monitoring personnel and resources facilitating corrections to malfunctions while initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departmentsCoordinate and review production plan and the assignment of employees to accomplish work results by establishing priorities monitoring progress revising production and employee schedulesCommunicate employee job expectations through planning monitoring and appraising job results training coaching counselling and discipliningFacilitate line changeovers and ensure proper training is completed prior to the assignment of any tasksTroubleshoot technical issues to improve productivity and product qualityMaintain daily production records and required documentationDevelop high visibility within the plantMaintain professional and technical knowledge by recommending and attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networksEnforcecompany policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environmentMinimum QualificationsPossess 2-3 years of supervisory related experience in a production manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively both written and oralAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAble to work 3-shift model Midnights Days Afternoons and required OTPreferred QualificationsPossess 3-5 years of supervisory related experience in a production manufacturing environmentAdaptable to customermanager requestsEmails regarding next steps will come from Bamboo HR - Please Ensure to check your junk mail when applying for jobsCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
