Production Supervisor

A defense manufacturing company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day to day operations within a fast paced production and blending environment. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on leadership, process improvement, and playing a direct role in the quality and output of mission critical products.

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Analyze work orders to build production and blend schedules that meet internal and external timelines
- Plan material flow and equipment layout to support efficient production
- Interpret job orders, assign duties, and direct daily activities of production staff
- Oversee equipment setup and operation to meet department objectives
- Train and develop technicians, leads, and operators on safety, procedures, and equipment
- Investigate manufacturing issues, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor lab and quality results to ensure processes stay within specification
- Coordinate with other departments to align on scheduling and resource needs
- Maintain accurate production, safety, and statistical records

Production Supervisor Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of related supervisory or production oversight experience
- Background in chemistry or quality is a plus
