Description
Job Summary:
Ideal candidate should be from FMCG / packaging industry, have been in supervisory role for 2+ years with hands on experience in continuous improvement, RCA, TPM, Autonomous maintenance step1, step2 with good leadership style leading team successfully.
Weekday Flexibility: Monday through Friday across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with required weekend flexibility
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree required
Key Responsibilities & Contributions:
Operational Excellence & Equipment Mastery:
Operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and achieve targets across safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale.
Understand, analyze, and eliminate operational losses.
Utilize autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development.
Safety & Quality Assurance:
Ensure strict adherence to safety processes, including safety maps, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Behavior Observation System (BOS), and Root-Cause Analysis (RCA).
Perform quality assurance activities to ensure zero harm and 100% good-quality products.
Leadership & Maintenance Management:
Ensure proper resource allocation and availability during the shift.
Lead shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stop reduction loss analysis, and breakdown elimination.
Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves):
Experience: 3 to 5 years of manufacturing or production experience.
Leadership: 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience managing teams of 15+ people.
Industry Background: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Packaging experience is required.
Continuous Improvement: Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety frameworks such as LOTO, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and BOS.
Technical Fit: Practical exposure to systems like TPM, SAP/ERP, and quality systems.
Impact & Results: Demonstrated track record with quantified results showing operational impact.
Application Standards: A coherent, role-appropriate resume that clearly demonstrates career progression.
Technical Knowledge & Competencies:
Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems.
Capability to maintain equipment at basic conditions independently, including executing AM and PM (breakdown and planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment.
Total Productive Maintenance and Six Sigma proficiency, including the qualification of AM steps 5 6 and PM step 3.
Proven ability in leading line teams.
Strong interpersonal skills for managing challenging situations tactfully.
Experience influencing stakeholders within a union environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
