Position Description:

  • The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams

Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends Required Behaviors
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
  • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
  • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies
  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively

High School Diploma or GED 1 years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience
