Production Supervisor

Position Description:The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression.Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirementsEnsure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality partsDrive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadershipBuild strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Required BehaviorsAbility to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situationsTwo-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customersHighly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindsetCreate a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policiesAdminister the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectivelyValues different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from othersEducation Required:High School Diploma / GEDAbility to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
