Job Description
- The Production Supervisor - Casting serves as the first level of leadership within the Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit.
- This role provides direction, coaching, and support to frontline employees while ensuring a safe working environment, achieving production goals, improving processes, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and promote safety initiatives to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Meet or exceed production targets and support operational objectives.
- Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions to improve results.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement improvement plans.
- Analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Maintain clear communication within teams and across departments.
- Address labor relations and employee conflict issues in a timely and fair manner.
- Maintain visual management systems to track performance and key metrics.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to production team members.
Shift Requirements:
- Candidates must be flexible and willing to work day or night shifts based on operational needs.
- Department operates on a 12-hour continuous shift schedule.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with metals.
- Experience in manufacturing, casting, or extrusion operations preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must meet requirements for access to controlled technology under ITAR/EAR regulations.
