Position Summary

AXL is seeking a highly capable, hands-on Production Supervisor with real-world experience in industrial sewn products, sewing quality standards, and daily production coordination.

This is not a generic warehouse supervisor or assembly-floor role.

We are specifically looking for someone who:
  • Understands industrial sewing and sewn-product construction
  • Has hands-on experience with industrial sewing operations
  • Can identify and correct sewn-product quality issues
  • Can help train and support sewing staff
  • Understands how to maintain consistent quality across multiple operators
  • Has experience coordinating or overseeing home sewers, contractors, or distributed production support
  • Understands tactical nylon products, bags, apparel, soft goods, or military-style sewn equipment
The Production Supervisor is responsible for helping AXL maintain strong daily production execution, clear floor communication, WIP visibility, quality follow-through, and production readiness across internal production and distributed sewing operations.

This role is designed to bridge the gap between production staff and leadership while helping reduce production bottlenecks, rework, missed handoffs, and owner dependency in daily production operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate is comfortable:
  • Supporting the production floor
  • Helping solve manufacturing issues
  • Tracking production priorities
  • Training sewing operators
  • Supporting quality inspections
  • Coordinating contractor and home sewer work
  • Escalating production risks early

    • In-process inspections
    • Final inspections
  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, workmanship issues, and preventable rework
  • Help ensure products meet AXL’s “Gold Standard”
  • Escalate quality concerns, material issues, or unclear instructions immediately
  • Help improve consistency across all sewing operations
Sewing Team Support & Training

  • Flag shortages, missing materials, BOM discrepancies, or readiness gaps early
