Main responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supervising a production shift, managing day-to-day operations, and coaching hourly teams to meet production, safety, and quality targets.

  • Lead and support sanitation team members to ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed
  • Directs and monitors all sanitation workers and schedules sanitation activities in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
  • Support production teams to ensure lines are ready for start-up after sanitation completion
  • Communicate operational status, sanitation coverage, and maintenance issues to production and leadership teams
  • Drives the engagement, development, and performance of all members of their team
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for variances.
  • Support execution of WIGs and plant improvement projects.
  • Communicate goals, updates, and metrics to the team regularly.
  • Train and mentor employees to achieve peak performance.
  • Ensure shift handoff and reporting processes are complete and accurate.
  • Resolve equipment or process issues quickly by partnering with Maintenance or QA.
  • Lead safety meetings and participate in incident investigations.
  • Ensure SOX and compliance documentation is completed and filed properly.
  • Collaborate with scheduling, warehouse, and support teams for seamless operations.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • 2 plus years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and safety programs.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, or similar).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Comfortable working in cold, hot, or noisy production environments.
  • Flexible schedule availability (including weekends or off shifts).
