About the Opportunity:

We're partnering with a well-established precision manufacturer that has built its reputation on producing high-quality components for some of the most demanding industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations during one of the facility's most critical shifts. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving problems in real time, and driving operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a culture centered on safety, accountability, and teamwork.
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and on-time delivery objectives are consistently achieved.
• Monitor production metrics and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall operational performance.
• Partner with engineering, quality, maintenance, planning, and other cross-functional teams to quickly resolve production challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving workflow, and increasing productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
• Conduct shift meetings, communicate production priorities, and maintain clear communication between shifts.
• Support employee development through coaching, training, performance management, and recognition of high performers.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, labor allocation, and production planning to meet customer demands.
• Lead by example on the production floor while maintaining a visible, approachable leadership style.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience supervising production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational best practices.
• Proven ability to motivate teams, build accountability, and develop employees.
• Comfortable making decisions in a dynamic manufacturing environment while balancing quality, safety, and production goals.
