Due to continued growth, they are seeking a
2nd Shift Production Supervisor
to lead manufacturing operations during one of the facility's most critical shifts. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving problems in real time, and driving operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a culture centered on safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and on-time delivery objectives are consistently achieved.
- Monitor production metrics and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall operational performance.
- Partner with engineering, quality, maintenance, planning, and other cross-functional teams to quickly resolve production challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving workflow, and increasing productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
- Conduct shift meetings, communicate production priorities, and maintain clear communication between shifts.
- Support employee development through coaching, training, performance management, and recognition of high performers.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, labor allocation, and production planning to meet customer demands.
- Lead by example on the production floor while maintaining a visible, approachable leadership style.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience supervising production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational best practices.
- Proven ability to motivate teams, build accountability, and develop employees.
- Comfortable making decisions in a dynamic manufacturing environment while balancing quality, safety, and production goals.
