Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:

Oversee production and schedule completion within a department
Oversee a staff of hourly team members and manage labor utilization.
Maintain accurate records of performance, production, and downtime events.

  • Process Optimization:

Continuously work to improve production efficiencies and reduce labor cost.
Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in production records.

  • Team Supervision:

Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
Foster a culture of safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

Generate and analyze production reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data.

  • Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to internal and customer requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, and/or Business is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position is preferred.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
  • Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required.
