Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (weekends as needed)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor to lead overnight manufacturing operations. This role oversees a team of approximately 15 employees, including operators, technicians, and production laborers, while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
As the primary leader on 3rd shift, you will operate independently, managing production priorities, staffing, scheduling, and communication across departments. A 2-4 week training period on day shift is required before transitioning to nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead third-shift production operations and personnel
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals and expectations
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and production priorities
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, productivity, and housekeeping standards
- Coordinate annual employee training requirements
- Communicate with maintenance to address equipment and production issues
- Maintain production records, reports, and shift documentation
- Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Qualifications Required
- Supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Production manufacturing experience with medium-to-large equipment and machinery
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Experience with production planning and scheduling
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience leading larger production teams
