Production Supervisor
Location: Louisville, KY
Shift: Onsite - Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

Employment Type: W2 Contract through Epitec
Compensation: $36-38 per hour with Benefits
Position Overview
Epitec is seeking a motivated and hands-on
Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in leadership positions, enjoy developing teams, and are passionate about driving safety, quality, and operational excellence.
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee hourly production employees, manage workflow, and help ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production team members
- Organize workflow to achieve daily production, quality, and productivity targets
- Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive team performance through accountability, engagement, and servant leadership
- Build strong working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management
- Identify and resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving
- Ensure standardized work processes are followed consistently
- Support a culture focused on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading and developing hourly employees
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive manufacturing
- Experience working in a union environment
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and manufacturing best practices
- Experience administering workplace policies and collective bargaining agreements
