    Description

    Position: Production Supervisor (Food)

    Location: Hebron, KY area

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management
    • At least 5 years of Food manufacturing experience with Production Floor supervising production processes and equipment operations.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot Automated equipment and solve production-related problems.
    • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC, SFQ, and Food Safety requirements.
    • Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5-Whys, 8-D, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and GEMBA walks.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads daily Production Operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Schedule targets.
    • Identify and Eliminate Waste in the overall Supply Chain from start to finish.
    • Enforce safety programs, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with GMPs, Sanitation Standards, food safety requirements, and production specifications to maintain product quality.
    • Trains, coaches, and develops employees; provide performance feedback, address team conflicts, and support employee evaluations and disciplinary processes.
    • Drive operational excellence by monitoring line performance, reducing waste, improving efficiency, coordinating changeovers, and maintaining documentation.
