Our client, a growing and well-established manufacturing company in Northeast Ohio, is seeking an experienced
Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and making a direct impact on production performance. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll oversee a team of approximately 15–20 production employees while partnering with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Planning to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met.
- Plan staffing and assign work to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, and engagement while providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
- Analyze production metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and support corrective action initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
