Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kentwood seeking Production Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production line personnel.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material flow to meet production schedules.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data and develop strategies for continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a production team.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior staff
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) relevant to the local workforce
• Project management experience, particularly with continuous improvement initiatives
