Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations within a large food distribution center in Lacey, WA. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen production activities to meet operational goals and deadlines
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements for efficiency and cost control
- Train, coach, and support production staff to ensure high performance and accountability
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Address and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
Qualifications:- Required: Experience in a food production or kitchen environment within a distribution center (DC)
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a high-volume food operation
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (FDA, HACCP, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, inventory systems)
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in large-scale food distribution centers
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
