Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities for Production Supervisor include but are not limited to:
- A commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Productivity through demonstrated integrity, and leadership within their work group.
- Overseeing the safe operations of manufacturing, shipping, and receiving of metal building components as prescribed by specifications and order releases.
- Familiarity of machinery and manufacturing processes for each line/department.
- Identifying process improvements that result in efficiency and cost savings.
- Communication within the division and buildings group to ensure solid teamwork and a productive work environment.
- Review teammate performance, determine coaching needs, set clear expectations, and provide regular feedback.
- Interviewing, hiring, development and accountability for teammates within the group.
- Travel with short notice.
- Commitment to living Nucor's value's and influencing teammates to do the same.
- Growth mindset and commitment to bettering department and division.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in related field
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Experience with coaching and mentoring
- Experience with troubleshooting production lines and material handling systems
