  • Conduct shift start-up meetings, Gemba walks, and monitor output against daily/weekly goals
  • Enforce IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards; perform first-article and in-process inspections
  • Identify and disposition non-conforming product; initiate CARs and support root cause analysis
  • Train operators, assess skill gaps, coordinate cross-training, and complete performance evaluations
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies; lead 5S audits and investigate incidents
  • Coordinate material staging, escalate shortages, maintain WIP accuracy, and support cycle counts
  • Lead kaizen events and Lean initiatives; track and present key production metrics
Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in wire harness, cable assembly, or electromechanical assembly (OEM environment)
  • 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role with direct responsibility for output and personnel
  • Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620; ability to read drawings, travelers, and BOMs
  • Experience with continuity, hipot, and resistance testing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills
  • Able to manage priorities in a high-mix / low-to-medium volume environment
Preferred

  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS or CIT certification
  • Lean tools (5S, kaizen, standard work, VSM); ERP/MRP experience
  • AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485 familiarity
  • MIL-SPEC harness experience; aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical background
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Education: High school diploma/GED required; technical degree or certificate preferred.

Physical: Stand/walk 8–10 hrs; lift up to 35 lbs; close visual inspection required.
