Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing (HPP) - 1st Shift

A leader in food safety and innovation, this organization provides high-pressure processing (HPP), value-added services, and cold storage solutions to partners across the food industry. The company is committed to delivering safe, fresh, and high-quality food products while maintaining a strong culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement.

We are currently hiring a Production Supervisor to join the 1st shift team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving production efficiency, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting employee development and engagement.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and lead a team of manufacturing employees
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to meet production goals
- Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and production processes to ensure efficiency
- Coach, train, and develop employees while addressing performance and behavior issues
- Track attendance, timekeeping, and employee performance metrics
- Conduct incident and accident investigations and support safety compliance
- Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and cost reductions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Experience working in production, warehouse, or food manufacturing settings
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance (OSHA preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold/refrigerated environment (approx. 35°F)
- Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repeatedly and up to 45 lbs occasionally

Preferences
- Experience in food manufacturing or HPP environments
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred
- Prior experience with coaching, employee development, and performance management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles
